God Held Me and Smiled

God held me and smiled
As He wiped away tears.
He whispered that He loved me
And said, I know your fears.”
He rocked me and He sang
Songs of love and sweet rest.
He would lead me and guide me
In the way that was best.
His hand will not falter,
His voice will not fail.
I can trust Him completely
For His grace will prevail.
My hope is in Jesus,
My friend and my guide.
He has walked on before me
And in Him I’ll abide.

Yes, God loves you so much and I do, too. I am praying for you and Anna's family. You are a wonderful daughter and a great friend! God will be with you and the Durham family during their loss and through the surgery. I love you so much for who you are and what a wonderful person you are!
